Accounting students place third in competition
University of Washington Bothell undergraduate accounting students placed third in the Beta Alpha Psi regional competition, held April 9-10 in Spokane.
Accounting students Nathan Al-Huwail, Alex Olson, Andrew Lowe and Vladimir Kolpatchev won third place for their presentation in the Chapter Sustainability category of the Best Practices competition.
Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary academic organization for students pursuing degrees and careers in the field of accounting.
The UW Bothell chapter is petitioning for formal status in Beta Alpha Psi, as is required for all new accounting programs.
The UW Bothell will graduate its first class of accounting majors this spring.
