The Distinguished Teaching Award is among the highest honors a professor at UW-Bothell can receive, and this year that honor goes to Dr. Diane Gillespie.

Gillespie was honored for her work teaching as a professor in UWB's Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences program.  She's taught at the Bothell campus since 1998.

The award is given to a professor who was nominated by someone on campus, whether that be a student, faculty or a staff member.
