A lecturer at UW-Bothell has won a year-long fellowship at one of Harvard University's prestigious institutes.
Anna Marie Hong has been named as a fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study for the 2010-11 academic year. She will be using the time at Radcliffe to work on a series she has been writing.
"This opportunity will enable me to write the second part of a two-volume sonnet series which I've been writing for some time," Hong said in a release.
She teaches several writing classes at UWB and has been published in several magazines, both regionally and nationally. She was the editor of Growing Up Asian American: An Anthology.
The Radcliffe fellowship program brings together people from various disciplines and backgrounds from around the world to help stimulate a high level of intellectual engagement.
