UW Bothell students place in top five at challenge
A team of University of Washington Bothell MBA students, placed among the top five teams in the Americas Investment Research Challenge, held March 18 in New York City.
Nearly two hundred university teams from North and South America participated in the Americas Challenge.
The UW Bothell MBA team consisted of students Teddy Lin, Patrick McShane, Ahmed Khalil, Shau Phang and Ashnapreet Nagi.
During the finals, the UW Bothell team was bested by Brigham Young University who will now represent the Americas at the Global Challenge in Hong Kong in April.
The students had been working on their project, an investment advisory report on Fisher Communications, since October 2009.
