UW Bothell's CSS Speaker Series
The University of Washington Bothell’s Computing and Software Systems Speaker Series will feature Laura Dillon, Ph.D., on Wednesday, February 10, 3:30-4:30 p.m., on campus in UW2, room 141. The event is free and open to the public.
Dillon will present “Szumo: A Compositional Contract Model for Safe Multi-threaded Applications.” In it she will provide an introduction to Szumo (synchronization units model) and an overview of a case study to validate the efficacy of Szumo on a realistic design problem: the component-based design of a multi-threaded web server.
Dr. Dillon is a Professor and Chairperson of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University.
